authID has partnered with Section 2 to integrate biometric identity verification and an AI governance framework into financial crime intelligence platforms, a move that extends mobile and biometric authentication deeper into enterprise compliance workflows.
The partnership connects authID’s biometric verification and its Mandate governance framework for agentic AI with Section 2’s TENet and TRACC platforms, which financial institutions use for anti-money laundering and threat-finance detection. The integration is designed to bind sensitive intelligence outputs to verified human or agent identities, creating an auditable chain of custody around who generated, approved and transmitted each result.
The use case illustrates an emerging direction in authentication: rather than sitting only at the front-end login, biometric verification is being embedded into downstream workflows where accountability matters. For financial institutions building AI-assisted compliance processes, that means each action, whether performed by a person or an AI agent, can be tied back to a verified identity.
authID has framed the approach as a replacement for exposed credentials like passwords and one-time passcodes. As institutions rely more heavily on automated analysis, the company is positioning its biometric controls as the mechanism that keeps those workflows accountable and auditable across analysts, investigators, compliance teams and external clients.
The deal follows authID’s recent partnerships to deploy biometric fraud prevention for a point-of-sale lender and biometric identity kiosks at more than 5,000 locations. The company has also worked with NVIDIA to extend its identity framework to AI agent identities alongside human logins.
