Bitwarden has announced the general availability of Access Intelligence for its Enterprise Password Manager plans, positioning the feature as a way for organizations to identify and remediate credential risk at scale. Access Intelligence provides visibility into weak, reused, and exposed credentials across enterprise applications, and includes workflows for remediation such as driving password resets and policy updates through Bitwarden’s existing security controls.
Bitwarden says Access Intelligence prioritizes issues based on application criticality and other factors so that security teams can focus on high-impact risks first, rather than treating all password problems equally. The tool is integrated into the broader Bitwarden platform, with reporting and dashboards designed to surface credential health in the context of enterprise security programs. Bitwarden’s business pricing documentation now lists Access Intelligence risk remediation as a capability of its Enterprise tier, indicating that the feature is meant to be part of the core value proposition for larger organizations.
In parallel, Bitwarden has expanded its support for passkeys by enabling users to log into Bitwarden via passkeys not only in the web app but also through browser extensions. Updated product documentation explains that users can now choose Log in with passkey on the Bitwarden login screen, at which point the browser triggers a passkey authentication flow; once completed, the user is logged into their Bitwarden vault without entering a traditional password. The documentation notes that Linux users may need to pop out the extension as a workaround for a known defect, but the capability is generally available across supported browsers.
Together, Access Intelligence and passkey login support reflect Bitwarden’s focus on reducing credential risk through both stronger analytics and migration away from reusable passwords. Access Intelligence adds a layer of enterprise-level risk insight and remediation, while passkey support in browser extensions makes phishing-resistant, public-key-based authentication more practical for everyday use of the Bitwarden vault.
