Fime Acquires Consult Hyperion to Strengthen Digital Identity and Payments Capabilities

Consult Hyperion, known for its work in secure electronic transactions, has a global presence and a reputation for assisting organizations in adopting new technologies and adapting to regulatory changes in areas such as payment systems and identity services. The acquisition strengthens Fime’s position in these fields, allowing the company to expand its service offerings.

Fime, which was accredited last year by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for biometric testing, is recognized for its high standards in evaluating biometric devices.

By integrating Consult Hyperion’s capabilities, particularly its rapid prototyping through Hyperlab and expertise in security-critical software, Fime aims to lead the future development of secure payment systems, smart mobility solutions, and digital identity services.

Consult Hyperion’s founders, Stuart Fiske and Neil McEvoy, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting shared values of creativity, collaboration, and expertise.

Fime CEO Lionel Grosclaude called the acquisition a key milestone for the company as it positions itself to shape the evolving landscape of payments and digital identity.
