Fingerprint Cards and jNet Secure Unveil AllKey Ultra FIDO Platform for Turnkey Biometric Tokens

Fingerprint Cards AB (FPC) has introduced FPC AllKey Ultra FIDO, a biometric hardware platform developed with jNet Secure to help OEMs and enterprises bring FIDO2 security tokens to market more quickly. The offering extends FPC’s AllKey Ultra family and is aimed at organizations that want phishing-resistant authenticators without building secure hardware stacks from scratch.

AllKey Ultra FIDO packages a fingerprint sensor, secure element, firmware, and a FIDO2 CTAP 2.3-compliant stack into a single System-in-Package module. The design supports on-device biometric verification and can be delivered pre-configured as a USB authenticator, including very slim token form factors. By providing a pre-integrated and pre-validated secure element and FIDO stack, FPC says customers can shrink development timelines from many months to a shorter integration cycle and focus on enclosure design, branding, and user experience rather than low-level security engineering.

The platform is targeted at companies that see demand for FIDO tokens but lack deep hardware, biometric, or secure OS expertise. FPC CEO Adam Philpott positions AllKey Ultra FIDO as a way to tap one of the fastest-growing segments in authentication, giving customers a faster path to deploying phishing-resistant FIDO credentials while maintaining strong security properties. jNet Secure CEO Mikhail Friedland notes that the module encapsulates years of secure OS and FIDO development into a compact, programmable package that can also be adapted beyond tokens into enterprise badges, digital wallets, and other secure devices.

FPC plans to highlight AllKey Ultra FIDO at the TRUSTECH 2025 event in Paris as part of a broader strategy to move from standalone fingerprint sensors into complete biometric systems.
