The directorate plans to digitize all operations to improve accuracy, minimize errors, and reduce direct interactions between staff and the public.
The digital system incorporates several key features, including mobile app-based applications for driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations, along with electronic payment capabilities via e-payment cards. Medical examinations for driver’s license applicants will continue to be conducted under the Ministry of Health’s oversight to maintain established health standards.
